What is Concierge PT?Concierge or mobile PT means we come to you. You can receive a private one: one care for your baby from the luxury of your home. This saves you time by eliminating the need to attend PT at a traditional clinic. This also means you have flexibility in scheduling appointments with your PT according to your needs. You get answers to your questions quickly from your PT via text/email/call. It is like having an expert pediatric PT at your back pocket.

Do I need a referral from my Doctor? In the state of Georgia you do not need a physician's referral for an initial physical therapy evaluation. We may see you for 21 days or 8 visits, whichever comes first, before we will need a prescription from an MD.
-
Do you take my insurance? In order to provide prompt, high-quality, one-on-one care in your home, Babies and Beyond Physical Therapy is an Out of Network (OON) provider, meaning we have no contract with any insurance company. Payment is required at the time of service. If you have OON coverage in your insurance plan, we can provide you with a superbill that will have the information required for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. Too often insurance companies dictate what is allowed or required in PT treatment, which can greatly reduce the quality of care. We believe your treatment should be a collaboration between you and your therapist, not your insurance company. You may use your HSA/FSA card for treatments.

What areas do you serve?Babies and Beyond Physical Therapy serves in-home in North Atlanta including Johns Creek, Suwanee, Cumming, Alpharetta and Roswell. Our in-clinic treatments are provided at our Sandy Springs and Alpharetta location. Not in these areas? We also offer virtual physical therapy and wellness sessions for patients residing in entire GA.

Why should I see a cash-based PT vs Traditional PT?Here is a quick summary of why one should see a cash-based PT
-
What are benefits of Cash based PT ?Babies and Beyond Physical Therapy is out of network with all insurances. We believe every child has a right to be treated irrespective of their medical benefits. And as responsible parents, YOU make decisions for your child’s needs. This allows us to begin treatment for your child without waiting for authorizations and approvals as early as within the same week. For some diagnoses like Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, TIME is the KEY! We do not want insurance dictating your child's treatment needs and access to skilled care. We will provide you with an invoice upon request for you to submit for reimbursement. Out of state virtual services are not reimbursable. Payment is due in full at the time of service. Please check your out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan. If you are concerned about payments, please reach out to us about options.
-
How do I schedule?Give us a call at (317)-721-6362 or use the appointment tab to schedule your free consultation. We will do a free 15-minute consultation over the phone to determine if we are a good fit for you. From there we can schedule your first appointment! If we don't think we are the best option to help you, we will refer you to someone with the expertise that you need.
-
What is a Superbill?A superbill is a detailed invoice provided to a patient from a Physical Therapist/PT clinic that states what codes were utilized to bill for Physical Therapy services. It is then sent to the insurance company by the patient in order for the patient to receive reimbursement from their insurance at the “out of network” rate.
-
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, check, credit card and HSA for payment at the time of your appointment for in person visits and prior to for online consultations.

How does the cost of Babies and Beyond PT compare to children’s hospital outpatient therapy? Many families assume that in-network hospital-based outpatient therapy is the most affordable option, but that’s not always the case. Here’s why: Higher hospital rates: Children's hospitals and large outpatient clinics often bill insurance at significantly higher rates than private practices. More out-of-pocket costs: Even with insurance coverage, families often face higher deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance due to hospital pricing structures. Shorter, less frequent sessions: In-network outpatient therapy may provide shorter or less frequent sessions based on insurance approvals, meaning progress may take longer. At Babies and Beyond PT, we offer one-on-one, personalized care at a lower overall cost compared to many hospital outpatient clinics—without the long wait times or restrictions from insurance approvals.

What should I know about insurance and out-of-pocket costs? Many families are surprised to learn that even with in-network providers, they may still have significant out-of-pocket costs. Here are a few key points: You must pay out-of-pocket until you meet your deductible, even with an in-network therapist. Many families never reach their deductible before being discharged from therapy. Even after meeting a deductible, you may still owe coinsurance (typically 20-30%) per session. Our rates are below the standard cost of services in our area, often making high-quality, out-of-network care a more accessible option than many realize.
